I’m fascinated how animals adapt and utilise man made structures in the environment. These Nankeen Kestrel’s in Shark Bay’s Francois Peron National Park have a prime location from which to live out their daily life. Francois Peron’s habitat is arid scrubland, devoid of any large trees. So the number 10 lighthouse, being the tallest structure in the vicinity, is by far the best vantage point for these kestrel’s to hunt from.
